NHL issues an in-game statement on Quinn Hughes
As hoped, Quinn Hughes has shown everyone that he belongs amongst the league's very best, even during the playoffs. The Captain's been racking up regular season franchise records this year, and now, his game has translated to the playoffs and the Nashville Predators.
The captain added another assist to his stellar playoffs resume when J.T. Miller scored a beauty. For Hughes, it meant a 20th point in as many outings, placing him in franchise history as the third player to do so.
Quinn Hughes (0-22) became the third player in @Canucks history with 20 points through his first 20 career #StanleyCup Playoff games, joining Trevor Linden (21) and Thomas Gradin (21).
The NHL's top defenceman for points with 17 goals and 75 assists, totalling 92 points in 82 games, there haven't been many teams who found a way to defend against Hughes' creativity. After three playoff games, it's fair to say the Predators haven't figured it out yet.
