Good news for Brock Boeser after leaving practice early
Vancouver Canucks fans can breathe a sigh of relief on Friday ahead of Game 3 against the Nashville Predators.
Canucks forward Brock Boeser returned to the ice on Friday for the morning skate after leaving Thursday's practice due to a shot he blocked in the left hand/wrist area.
"Brock Boeser back with the team at the optional skate after leaving practice yesterday following a shot block." Rink Wide: Vancouver said in a post on X.
Boeser is one player that the Canucks desperately need to have a big game on Friday night at Bridgestone Arena. Through the first two games of the series, Boeser only has one assist and after scoring 40 goals in the regular season, he'll be relied on heavily to produce some offense for the team.
It's unclear at the time of writing this if Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet will make any lineup changes for Game 3 after losing 4-1 at home on Tuesday night or what the lines will look like. If If Thursday's practice is any indication, Brock Boeser will skate on the second line with J.T. Miller at center and Pius Suter on left wing.
