Quinn Hughes' latest comments about Devils trade rumours doesn't look good for the Vancouver Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks have suffered from a lot of trade rumours surrounding their captain Quinn Hughes, as he appears unhappy with the team, the New Jersey Devils have been a favourite landing spot for experts regarding Hughes, and Hughes added fuel to the fire in his most recent interview.
Hughes referred to the Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald with a nickname, that suggested too much familiarity is already in place.
"Superstar defenseman Quinn Hughes has ignited the NHL rumor mill as pundits and fans wonder whether his days as a Vancouver Canuck are actually winding down. For all the talk of him joining Jack and Luke with the New Jersey Devils, it's debatable whether the hockey fit makes sense - would Quinn and Luke be a bit redundant, for instance?"-Larkin
Quinn Hughes already appearing too close to the New Jersey Devils.
Sam McKee pointed out the nickname Hughes had for Fitzgerald, calling him "Fitzy" and then calling his own President by just his first name. The Hughes family is obviously well connected to the Devils with Luke and Jack there, but Quinn still seems too close for comfort.

This came after Hughes was asked if he's motivated to play well to put the rumours to bed, Hughes responded by saying he just trying to win hockey games. But Hughes' body language is a clear sign he doesn't want to be there anymore. There are times where he simply gives up on the play. Which has never happened before in his career. It's a level of mental exhaustion we have never seen from him, and it suggests that his time in Vancouver is done.
