Top landing spots for Quinn Hughes emerges as Canucks trade talks heat up

The Vancouver Canucks recently made their veterans available for trade, with the exception of their captain Quinn Hughes, but the rumour mill has never been hotter for him to be traded, among the teams that make sense for him are the New Jersey Devils, Philadelphia Flyers and Chicago Blackhawks.
It would take a lot for Hughes to get traded, but his body language is clearly showing his lack of interest in staying, it makes more sense to trade him than to keep him.
"He is expressing the same body language as Miller was before he was traded to the New York Rangers. It's not inspiring to his teammates to see their captain give up, and it's not inspiring to the fans either. Something needs to change, either his mentality or the team he is on."-Stinson
Where would Quinn Hughes go if the Vancouver Canucks traded him?
Matt Larkin of the Daily Faceoff reported on the potential landing spots for Hughes as his trade rumours keep heating up. The Canucks need to really consider trading him, because at this point there is almost no chance he re-signs with them in two seasons.
"Superstar defenseman Quinn Hughes has ignited the NHL rumor mill as pundits and fans wonder whether his days as a Vancouver Canuck are actually winding down. For all the talk of him joining Jack and Luke with the New Jersey Devils, it's debatable whether the hockey fit makes sense - would Quinn and Luke be a bit redundant, for instance?"-Larkin
Matt Larkin believes the Flyers make the most sense, it's a big hockey/sports market, they have a lot of cap space and a lot of young talent ready to make the next step in their careers. Having a superstar like Quinn Hughes to lead the way, might be the catalyst that puts everything in place for them.
" Hughes joining a rising core including Matvei Michkov and Porter Martone, and reuniting with head coach Rick Tocchet, would be an interesting match. The question is whether GM Danny Briere could pull off a Hughes heist without giving up any of said pieces from the core. If you're Vancouver, you ask for Martone at the very least, right?"-Larkin
The Blackhawks are also a good option for the same reason, imagine Hughes and Connor Bedard on the same team, the highlight reel would be full every night. It's sad to say it would be better for hockey if Hughes is no longer on the Canucks, but it is the reality and the Canucks need to accept it.
