Playing on the fourth line of any NHL team isn't easy, and for Linus Karlsson it's about making those 10 minutes a night count, and he did just that with an incredible goal against the Colorado Avalanche last night.

"Before the Canucks took to the ice for their morning skate on Wednesday, there was a familiar face as Teddy Blueger was on the ice for a short period in a full-contact sweater."-Jaxon

Karlsson making every minute count with the Vancouver Canucks.

Trevor Beggs of the Daily Hive wrote on the amazing goal Karlsson had last night against the Avalanche, despite them losing, Karlsson's goal was key in getting the Canucks on the board, and they managed to salvage a point in overtime.
"Even though Karlsson and the Vancouver Canucks lost 5-4 in overtime to the Colorado Avalanche, it was undoubtedly one of the team's best performances of the season. That included a couple of stellar moments from Karlsson and his linemates, Arshdeep Bains and Max Sasson, who are fighting to stay in the NHL with players such as Teddy Blueger, Jonathan Lekkerimäki expected back in the near future."-Beggs

The Avalanche are the best team in the NHL currently, and the Canucks showed an amazing effort getting to overtime. It was one of the best team performances of the season. And Karlsson was the one leading the way despite getting the least amount of ice time.
"Aside from his power play marker, Karlsson also led all Canucks with three high-danger attempts at even-strength. No other player had more than one. That's a pretty good impression to leave on the Canucks coaching staff as he tries to stay in the lineup."-Beggs

LINUS KARLSSON WITH A BETWEEN-THE-LEGS BEAUTY! 🤩
Hopefully, despite the loss, this can spark the Canucks toward playing some better hockey. They desperately need it if they want to salvage their season, and with several players returning from injury soon, it could be a good catalyst for a solid month ahead.
