Trade Rumor: Controversial Former NHLer Sean Avery Floats Outrageous Trade Rumor Involving J.T. Miller
One of the most controversial figures in hockey Sean Avery has come out and proposed a blockbuster trade in which would send Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers.
It is well documented through out his playing and post-post career that Sean Avery is not one to shy away from controversy and hold back what he thinks, and he did just that when proposing this trade and calling out Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette.
On the recent episode of the Spittin' Chiclets Podcast, Avery made his feeling known on how he felt about Laviolette.
«I'd fire him today,» In a big market like that. Eastern Conference Finals last year. (They were) that close,» Avery said. "Unfortunately, that's part of it. The coach goes first. Avery said while appearing on Monday's episode of the "Spittin' Chiclets" podcast.
Sean Avery Proposed Trade Sending J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers
Avery seems to be one to be controversial and make hot takes that stirs the pot, but in this instance, he was highly praising towards the gamer of Miller.
«He's a superstar. J.T. Miller is a big player. Reminds me of Rod Brind'Amour but a little bit different. He's got a little Primeau brothers in him, I love him,» Avery said. "But, sweeten the pot, and don't wait too long.
He suggested a blockbuster trade that would see the Rangers get Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller in which they would send over forward Filip Chytil and K'Andre Miller.
"It's the perfect situation; you have an opportunity. West Coast team, make the move. I would give them (Filip) Chytil and I would give them K'Andre Miller. Aren't those two enough?»
