Vancouver Canucks Head Coach Adam Foote issued a positive injury update on Monday afternoon regarding one of the team's top forwards, Conor Garland.

The Vancouver Canucks are set to wrap up their road trip tonight in Nashville and after dealing with countless injuries over the last month, it looks like some relief is finally on the way for Adam Foote's group.
On Monday, the club announced that captain Quinn Hughes will make his return to the lineup after missing the last four games with a lower-body injury and it looks like another important piece to the roster is on his way back soon.
"No line rushes at #canucks skate. Demko did the starters routine. Guessing it's P.O. Joseph coming out for Hughes. Will need confirmation from 🦶" Sportsnet's Dan Murphy said.

Following the team's morning skate, Adam Foote met with reporters where he gave injury updates on a handful of players that are currently on the sidelines including forward Conor Garland and Teddy Blueger.
According to Foote, Conor Garland is getting close to a return to the lineup, but wouldn't commit to when fans could see him in game action, adding that Teddy Blueger will be the next one back from injury following the Scituate, Massachusetts native.
"Garly's close. Blueger's the next one probably back." Adam Foote said to the media.

Garland, 29, was forced to leave last Tuesday's game against the New York Rangers after being on the receiving end of an open-ice hit from Sam Carrick and did not accompany his teammates on their three-game road trip to St. Louis, Minnesota and Nashville.
NHL insider Rick Dhaliwal shared last Friday that Garland should be back in the lineup within the next week, which would set him up for a potential return either Wednesday against the Chicago Blackhawks or Saturday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
"And for Conor Garland, I'm starting to feel more one week. One week for Garland. Upper body." Dhaliwal said.

Injury aside, it's been a solid start to the 2025-26 season for Conor Garland as he's played at a point-per-game pace so far, with 11 (three goals, eight assists) in 11 games, along with four penalty minutes and is a minus-six.
Garland's return to the lineup, whether it's Wednesday or Saturday, will give the Vancouver Canucks the offensive boost they've been looking for as the club sits 23rd in the National Hockey League in goals for with 35 in 13 games.
