With all of the uncertainty surrounding Captain Quinn Hughes' future with the Vancouver Canucks, his brother Jack Hughes, superstar of the New Jersey Devils latest comments have only added fuel to the fire and he doesn't seem to fazed by it.

As the offseason winds down and teams are getting ready for training camp, this summer has not been the easiest for Quinn Hughes as constant speculation and rumors running rampant in the media pertaining to if he will re-sign with the Canucks once his contract expires.
Hughes has been pretty ambiguous with his intent, but is putting pressure on the 2025-26 season, insinuating that another failed season will most likely make his decision pretty simple
Last year was a failure. Let's see what we can do. I'll answer this question with my actions next summer.

Vancouver Canucks' Quinn Hughes defends his brother Jack Hughes' comments

It is clear that Hughes has not made a decision on if he will stay or go, especially after he told the media he would like to play with his brothers Luke and Jack Hughes at some point in his career, which only put fans in a bigger frenzy.
All of this came to the forefront when his brother Jack Hughes said that he wanted to reunite at some point, and Quinn Hughes defended his brothers comments even though it is making the situation a bit more uncomfortable.
Hughes added that he's excited to be in Vancouver and be a Canuck and has a lot of work to do there to help the team return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs, hopefully this season.

"I mean, he's my brother. What's he supposed to say, first of all? 'Like, I don't want to play with him, you know?' ... I mean, we have contracts and whatnot. He's on a different team. Would it be fun to play with those guys at some point? Of course. I think if you guys have brothers, you guys would say the same thing. But we do have contracts. I'm excited to be in Vancouver, and I feel like last year was a little bit of failure. So I feel like I got things to do there. And I know Jack loves, he loves Jersey, and he's got stuff to do also." Hughes said.

He added, "That's him being authentic."

Canucks fans are taking Quinn Hughes' statement a little to personal, if anyone was able to play alongside their brother or sibling on the biggest stage would jump at that chance.
Quinn Hughes is just saying that you should not blame Jack for speaking his mind on something so obvious, hat anyone would want.
