The Canucks are coming off a dominating 5-1 win against the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday on Tuesday that saw Captain Quinn Hughes join the ranks of the NHL elite as he became became the fastest Canucks player and 3rd fastest American player in NHL history to hit the 300-assist milestone.
Rick Tocchet reflected on his young captain's accomplishment and commented on his work ethic and commitment to the Canucks.
Additionally, The Canucks went back to their reliable netminder Kevin Lankinen, who, with that win, now improves his record to an impressive 6-0-2.
Tonight, The Canucks will once again be giving the nod to Lankinen, as they really do not have the option to give Arturs Silovs another go. Silovs has struggled badly to start the season, so to give the net to anyone but Lankinen right now doesn't make sense.
On top of not changing their goalie for tonight, after their huge win on Tuesday, Rick Tocchet also disclosed after morning skate today that he will be rolling with the exact same lineup as last game.
Canucks Lineup
Forwards
DeBrusk-Miller-Boeser
Suter-Pettersson-Garland

One important update is that as reports indicate Dakota Joshua is close to returning, he was not seen on the ice this morning with the team, meaning Canucks fans will have to wait at least one more game until he is back in the lineup.
