The next member of the Vancouver Canucks to be traded by Patrik Allvin & Jim Rutherford has been revealed, with the holiday roster freeze just three days away.

In late November, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported that the Vancouver Canucks have made all of their pending unrestricted free agents available on the trade market as the front office looks for ways to make the team's roster younger.
"According to several sources, the Vancouver Canucks have let it be known that - in an effort to get younger - they are willing to listen to offers on 'veteran players.'" Friedman said.

Almost immediately, some of Vancouver's pending UFAs, most notably forward Kiefer Sherwood, began being linked to several teams around the league and some new information has come to light revealing who might be the next Canucks player dealt by the club following captain Quinn Hughes last Friday.

Next Vancouver Canucks player to be traded has been revealed

In an article for Daily Hive on Wednesday, Trevor Beggs took a look at which Vancouver Canucks player might be on the move next, with the club expected to make several moves between now and Friday, March 6th - the National Hockey League's trade deadline for the 2025-26 season.
According to Beggs, he believes veteran forward Evander Kane is the most likely to be traded next by Patrik Allvin and Jim Rutherford, especially with the club adding fellow left winger Liam Ohgren in the Quinn Hughes deal last week and that several contending teams will have interest in him.
"While Kane is on the back nine of his career, there should be interest from contending teams. Kane has been productive recently in the postseason during his time with the Edmonton Oilers." Beggs said.

After Evander Kane, Beggs has forward Kiefer Sherwood listed at number two on his trade list, followed by Teddy Blueger (3rd), Derek Forbort (4th), Conor Garland (5th) and David Kampf (6th).
"This trade is much more crucial for the Canucks to figure out compared to the Kane deal, which is why it may take longer to consummate a trade." Beggs said about a trade involving Kiefer Sherwood.

The next 79 days are going to be very interesting for the Vancouver Canucks organization and it's going to be crucial for Patrik Allvin and Jim Rutherford to acquire assets in these potential trades that is going to help the rebuild that this franchise is currently undergoing.
