The Vancouver Canucks organization has announced the departure of four players this weekend as they were released following the conclusion of the ECHL's preseason.

Over the course of the offseason, the Vancouver Canucks were quite busy, but their ECHL affiliate, the Kalamazoo Wings, were even busier, announcing signing after signing well into late-September.
Among the additions made to Kalamazoo's roster this offseason include acquiring former NCAA captain Colin Bilek in a trade with the Maine Mariners, as well as the signing of a two-time Kelly Cup champion - Todd Skirving.
This weekend, as Kalamazoo and other clubs around the ECHL wrapped up training camp & preseason, the Wings started preparing their roster for opening night, which included releasing a total of four players.
