A Vancouver Canucks fan and season ticket holder reportedly had to wait several months before she received money for tickets she sold during the 2024-25 campaign.

Ticket prices around the National Hockey League aren't cheap and starting in the 2025-26 campaign, Vancouver Canucks fans will have to pay more for season tickets, which understandably, isn't sitting well with them.
For some fans, they use their season tickets as an investment opportunity and sell off tickets to a portion of the 41 home games each year, but for one Vancouver Canucks supporter who sold some of hers, it took quite a while to receive any money.

Vancouver Canucks fan waits months to receive money from Ticketmaster

During an interview with Global News, Vancouver fan Trish Connolly said that she sold some of her seasons tickets through the official Canucks Ticketmaster resale website but didn't receive any of the money she was owed.
Connolly told Global News that she was owed a little over $5,700 CAD after selling 16 tickets and in the months following, she spoke with her Canucks season ticket representative, as well as executives with the organization, but nothing worked.
According to Connolly, the last time she heard anything regarding this matter was via a email from the Vancouver Canucks in February of this year where they apologized for how long it was taking to get the money into her bank account.
Consumer Matters, a program on Global News, then reached out to the Vancouver Canucks on behalf of Trish Connolly to discuss the delay in getting the money to her and just hours later, a member of the organization showed up at her home with a cheque as well as some other merchandise.
"That same day, Connolly says she received a call from the Vancouver Canucks. Within a couple of hours, she says a cheque for the full amount owing along with some Canucks merchandise was delivered to her front door." Anne Drewa of Global News said.

This isn't a great look whatsoever from the Vancouver Canucks or Ticketmaster and thankfully, the fan was finally able to receive her money and will be returning as a season ticket holder in the fall.
