The Vancouver Canucks' projected lineup and their starting goaltender, have been announced for Sunday's clash with Alexander Ovechkin & the Washington Capitals.

After a big shootout victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday night, Adam Foote's group are feeling great about where they're at right now early on in the NHL's 2025-26 season.
During their two-game winning streak, the club has been getting contributions from up and down the lineup, not just on the scoresheet but on the defensive side of the puck too and one line that that Adam Foote is loving right now is the fourth trio of Arshdeep Bains, Max Sasson and Linus Karlsson.
"When you're young like that, their whole line, the energy they bring, we can deal with some of the things that they have to learn on the fly. You have to play games to get some of those things and address. So, I really like their game. I like that line." Foote said post-game on Friday.

He added, "With all the power plays, they probably didn't play the minutes they deserved, but they'll play some more minutes."
