Vancouver Canucks ticket prices take drastic drop
Vancouver Canucks ticket prices have taken a drastic drop on the secondary market amid the team's poor start to the 2025-26 season and the team preparing to rebuild.
Things are not going well for the Vancouver Canucks organization to start the 2025-26 campaign as the club has made all of their pending unrestricted free agents available, traded away captain Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild and have finally admitted that they're ready to enter a bit of a rebuilding/retooling phase, with their goal being to get younger.
"According to several sources, the Vancouver Canucks have let it be known that - in an effort to get younger - they are willing to listen to offers on 'veteran players.'" Elliotte Friedman said earlier this month.
Given where the team is in the National Hockey League's overall standings and where they'll likely end up when the season concludes, Rogers Arena certainly isn't going to be full like it was in the spring of 2024 and it appears that ticket prices are starting to come down on the resale market.
Vancouver Canucks ticket prices take drastic drop on secondary market
In a recent article for Daily Hive, Trevor Beggs examined the team's ticket prices on the secondary market and for those hardcore fans of the club, who support them win or lose, it might be time to break out the credit card and purchase some for any upcoming home game.
"The plummeting price is one indication that it's getting harder to fill out Rogers Arena, but another big indication is the fact that tickets on the resale market are dropping as well." Beggs said.
He later added, "In January, there are plenty of resale tickets available for non-marquee matchups against the New York Islanders and the Anaheim Ducks that are below $100. The cheapest ticket to see the Bo Horvat and the Islanders on Jan. 19 is $67.65 on Ticketmaster."

If the Vancouver Canucks continue to remain in the National Hockey League's basement or even trade away some more big stars that some of the more casual fans want to come see, there's no question that attendance is going to drop off significantly.
By the time NHL players return from the Olympics in Italy, I don't think it would surprise anyone if the Canucks were averaging below 16,000 fans a night and tickets in the 300 level on the secondary market are going for about $50 CAD, all due to the state of the team and the direction they're heading.
