BREAKING NEWS | Police Report is out regarding regarding Valeri Nichuskin controversial leave of absence
When Valeri Nichuskin was escorted to the airport it caused a major stir around the NHL and the Avs suffered a great loss as the defending cup champions will be facing elimination on their next game.
The official police report has been made public and it revealed information we surely weren't expecting. While the Avs confirmed there were no legal matter involved, they offered no update on the star forward's possible return.
«The police report, released to The Seattle Times through a public disclosure request, states that a patrol car was sent to the Four Seasons Hotel downtown to assist on a behavioral crisis call and arrived to find a 28-year-old woman in an ambulance. According to the report, an ambulance attendant told police that Avalanche team physician Bradley Changstrom had more information on what had happened.»
The woman assaulted Changstrom, but the Avs' physician didn't want to press charges, the report also stated:
'' The report states that the woman, who was taken to Virginia Mason Medical Center for observation, told Changstrom she was from Russia but born in the Ukraine and «should never have come to the United States and that some guy took her passport and that he was a bad person.» ''
The security guard traveling with the Avs, a former police officer, confirmed that no illegal activities took place in Nichuskin's hotel room. Besides her being heavily intoxicated.
To a certain extent, this confirms Frank Seravalli's report regarding the involvement of perhaps ''alcohol''. However this only makes Nichuskin's departure only more suspicious. The big-format winger would surely come in handy for the Avs as they've struggled to find the back of the net. We'll keep you updated as soon as we learn more.
