LATEST | Allvin drops former First Round Draft Pick on waivers
The Canucks have used 16 defensemen this year due to an unimaginable amount of injuries.
Now that some of the injured are making their way back to the line-up, it had to be expected that at some point the Canucks would have to send some of them down.
Allvin announced that the Canucks had put Noah Juulsen on waiver for the purpose of assignment to Abbotsford. Juulsen had not taken part in an NHL game since March 19th.
Juulsen had been great, he had spent the majority of his time in Vancouver along Quinn Hughes and the two made quite the pair. Now the Canucks are risking losing him for free.
Juulsen was selected in the First Round of the 2015 Draft by the Montreal Canadiens. He's played 68 NHL games since turning pro, 20 of them with the Canucks. He will be a restricted free agent by the end of this season and this may be a good indication of what is future with Canucks look like.
