The Canucks landed the jackpot when they landed Quinn Hughes with the 7th overall pick in 2018. The dynamic defenceman has been excellent ever since he joined the Canucks and already owned multiple franchise records at only 24 years of age. He's taken his play to a new level this season and generated severe talks.

With 33 games left on the season, Hughes is only 14 points shy of breaking his own franchise record for the most points in a season by a defenseman (76).
