LATEST | Chaos ensues following Predators' rout of Lightning
The Nashville Predators handily defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning Thursday night by the score of 5-1. Tampa forward Austin Watson expressed his frustration by slapping a puck in the direction of Predators defender Jeremy Lauzon as the game came to a close:
Watson, 31, has one point on one goal in 15 games this season. He was assessed a 10-minute misconduct along with a minor penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct on the play. Nashville was not penalized.
Watson also received a fine of $2,022.57, the maximum allowed under the current CBA.
