LATEST | Development on Ethan Bear and finally some good news
The Canucks took the ice at Rogers Arena ahead of their rendezvous with the Ottawa Senators.
Ethan Bear has been out with an injury and hasn't been participating in team's practices. Today he took part in the morning skate and shared some time alongside Quinn Hughes on the team's top pairing.
Though, Brendan Batchelor reported that he spent extra time on the ice taking extra reps. Therefore indicating he shouldn't be in tonight's lineup.
«Ethan Bear is out late after morning skate, so it doesn't look like he'll return to the lineup tonight.»
Bear has been out of business since the 25th of February and is currently looking for a contract extension since he'll be a restricted free agent on July 1st. We'll be monitoring the situation closely in hopes that both parties agree on an extension.
