LATEST | Development on Quinn Hughes and Tocchet confirms everything
The Canucks skated yesterday ahead of their game tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Rick Tocchet spoke to the media and revealed that Hughes had played through the Seattle game through a virus. Hughes was given the day off yesterday and Tocchet even made a joke about it stating that: «he doesn't need to skate more».
Hughes has been busy lately, since Tocchet came in, he's been the player who has spent the most time on the ice. Tocchet specified that Hughes might be available for tonight's game, which confirms it's nothing serious and that we're only days away from having him back on the ice.
It's been indicated already that Cole McWard would be making his NHL debut later tonight, if Hughes is ready to go by then somebody else will have to sit in the press box.
