MAJOR | Bill Daly gives a massive hint as to where the NHL is headed next
The NHL recently expanded to an even number when they added the Seattle Kraken and the Vegas Golden Knights. Both are successful since they've grossed some of the NHL's most considerable revenues.
On the other hand, other teams have struggled from fanbase consistency to Arena problems; the Arizona Coyotes have generated tons of headlines for it. Now, Bill Daly gave a wild statement today, and he may have given a significant hint at where the NHL might be stopping next:
NHL's Bill Daly on Atlanta getting its 3rd NHL team:
"I think some of the challenges that we've seen in the past in Atlanta can be overcome,"
"I think the times... market demographics have changed pretty dramatically since the first time we went there and then again in 1999,"
It's been reported before that Atlanta had approved a new sports building project and that they'd been pushing hard for the NHL to return. Are the Thrashers about to be the 33rd NHL franchise? Are the Coyotes about to move to Atlanta?
