MAJOR | Tocchet goes nuts and makes major changes to his lines
The Canucks came up big against the Blackhawks last night when they completely shut them to a 3-0 win.
The Canucks were back on the ice in preparation for their meeting tomorrow against the Flames and the Tocchet mixed his lines real well.
Tocchet remodeled the team's first line as it now featured Vitaly Kravtsov and Conor Garland by Pettey's sides. Beauvilier, Kuzmenko, McDonough, and Dries were splitting their time on the 4th line.
The J.T. Miller unit made of Phil Di Giuseppe and Brock Boeser remained unchanged. The third line had Dakota Joshua and Nils Aman per the usual but Jack Studnicka stood by their side.
The defensive core was once again filled with rookies. Quinn Hughes topped the group with Kyle Burroughs and the exciting Akito Hirose was matched with Tyler Myers.
It's quite surprising to see Tocchet mix his lines this sort, especially after the team managed a hard-fought win. Kravtsov could be getting a look alongside Pettersson, could he show things we had not yet seen from him?
