At some point in time, fights weren't just a prominent part of the game, but very much a part of the entertainment in a hockey game. Up to this day, the majority of fans still feel that fighting holds a place in the fame, since it gives the players the ability to police themselves during the game, therefore making the game ''safer''.
Long-time and beloved former Canuck Kevin Bieksa was never one to shy away from a fight. At some point, he even developed a Superman punch that catches players off-guard giving him an undisputable advantage. Not too long ago, he caught Radko Gudas with it and sent him to bed:
Over his career, Bieksa took part in 808 NHL games, 597 of which were with the Canucks who had made him their 5th Round Selection in 2001. He was a part of the 2011 roster that went to the Stanley Cup final.
