Nelson Leafs and Beaver Valley Nitehawks of the KIJHL faced off and kicked off the games in good fashion.

The game summary lets us witness a combined 257 penalty minutes, 8 fighting majors, 8 10-minute misconducts and 9 game misconducts. The physicality was the tone setter for the 1st period and that line brawl made sure that the fans were entertained through the second, see for yourself:
The KIJHL is one of the top Junior B league in the Canadian country based in British Columbia. The league has yet to make its statement regarding the suspensions coming out of these events.
