Suspension coming right up for the Bruins' A.J. Greer as he sends a cross check to Mike Hoffman's teeth
We've seen our fair share of sticks flying to players' faces this year and yet again a Bruins added another.
A.J. Greer was involved in a little chitchat with Mike Hoffman in a neutral zone face-off. The pair got it going, when Greer absolutely lost it and went straight for Hoffman's teeth, sequence:
Greer was immediately sent to the showers and awarded a game-misconduct. Mike Hoffman retreated to the dressing room before coming back with a full-face to cover his teeth and jaw.
This certainly is cheap shot worth a few games of suspension. In no-way is a stick meant to be used this way and Greer needs to learn it first hand. We'll give an update as soon as we have the return from the league.
