The announcement is just in, the Stars and the Avalanche have agreed on a trade.
The Stars are sending away Fredrik Olofsson to the Avs for future consideration.

Olofsson played a total of 28 NHL games with the Stars this year, managing 4 points. Through his North American career, he's played a total of 39 AHL games where he collected 14 points.
Once the Avs acquired his rights, they signed the forward to one year $775K deal.
