Zadorov, a native of Moscow, Russia, was one of the first big trades of the 2023-24 campaign, being dealt from Calgary to Vancouver in late-November. The 29-year-old had 20 points (six goals, 14 assists), 125 penalty minutes and had an even-rating in 75 regular season games. He took his game to the next level in the playoffs and at times, was one of the Canucks' best defencemen, putting up eight points in 13 games.
Lindholm, a native of Boden, Sweden finished the regular season with 44 points (15 goals, 29 assists), 25 penalty minutes and was a minus-14 in 75 games with Calgary and Vancouver. During the playoffs, he turned his game up a notch, appearing in 13 games and tallying ten points (five goals, five assists) and four penalty minutes.
Bringing in Zadorov is a big move for the Boston Bruins as he plays a very physical style that the organization has been known for for decades now. He should get big minutes on the Bruins' blueline and play on the team's penalty kill and will be solid for them in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, if they are able to clinch a berth next season.
