The circumstances surrounding Corey Perry's mysterious exit from the Chicago Blackhawks and his subsequent contract termination are still unknown, and speculation continues to run rampant.
In the midst of the spreading of one particular rumour about Corey Perry and a teammate's mom, Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli minced no words denying the claim.

Seravalli doesn't offer any new details about the Perry situation, but says the rumour concerning he and Bedard's mom is so far from the truth but unfortunately will likely stick to the young phenom.
The Blackhawks placed Corey Perry on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination on Tuesday afternoon citing "conduct that is unacceptable" from the veteran of 18 seasons.
Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson will address the media at 4 PM CST and is is expected to address the decision to terminate Perry's contract.
