LATEST | Leon Draisaitl sending warnings at the Canucks for their play
During the NHL's All-Star Weekend in Toronto, all players involved did several interviews with members of the media and during a chat with Sportsnet's Jeff Marek, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl were asked the question - The team I'd like to beat the most is...?
McDavid responded by saying the Calgary Flames and Los Angeles Kings, while Draisaitl also mentioned the Kings, but added in the Vancouver Canucks.
Draisaitl says the reason is because the Canucks have slapped around the Edmonton Oilers a little bit this season and he wants to get a bit of redemption.
"yea LA. Vancouver. Because they slapped us around a little bit, a couple of times this year, so yea, I'd like to get some redemption there." Draisaitl said.
The Canucks and Oilers have already played each other three times this season, with one more matchup coming later this season on April 13th in Edmonton. So far, the Canucks have won all of their games against each other, winning 8-1, 4-3 and 6-2.
It'll be interesting to see what will happen during their final game against each other during the regular season in April, but it's safe to say that Draisaitl and the Oilers are fired up and want to get the win badly.
