Before signing in Melbourne, Booth spent the last six seasons of his career playing in Europe, aside from taking taking the 2021 season off.

Former #Canucks winger David Booth has wrapped up his first season in Australia. In total, Booth played 16 games, recording 36 goals, 33 assists and 69 points. His Melbourne Ice won the championship.
Obviously, Booth was far above the competition he faced in Australia, but in all honesty, he does not have what it takes to even make an attempt at a comeback to pro hockey in North America, especially at 40-years-old.
