Canucks make an official announcement regarding Tucker Poolman
The Canucks have had their fair share of troubles with player encouting different types of injuries, from Tanner Pearson to Tucker Poolman, things have gone south rather drastically.
During their 11:00 AM press conference, Patrik Allvin, Jim Rutherford and Rick Tocchet adressed the media and confirmed that Tucker Poolman wouldn't be playing this season.
It was reported earlier during the summer that Poolman wouldn't be participating in the team's training camp. This news comes as a confirmation that he is not yet ready to set foot on the ice:
Poolman will remain under contract for the next two years with a $2.5M cap hit. It is expected that he'll be move into the Long-Term Injury Reserve meaning the Canucks will have an additional $2.5M under the salary cap, therefore making them cap compliant.
The right handed shot Defenseman took part in 3 games in 2022-2023, now everything points toward his career being cut short at only 30-years of age.
