The Canucks have had a rocket season debut, one that only few saw coming. The Canucks' leaders and top players upped their game a huge notch and took the reigns.
CANUCKS' CATALYST, NOT WHO WE THOUGHT?
A number of players have been huge game breakers for the Canucks. Elias Pettersson has been a dominant force, Quinn Hughes has been out of this world good, Thatcher Demko is back to being a Vezina candidate, but J.T. Miller has been identified has the team's true leader and catalyst.
John Shannon was on Sekeres and Price earlier and revealed that Miller was the force behind the team's success. According to his sightings, he keeps the boat afloat through his strong performances at both ends of the ice:
Miller, who just turned 30, is getting better everyday since he joined the Canucks. The centerman is on pace for a record breaking season with 29 points in 19 outings. To top it all, his line has constantly been matched to the opposing team's top line and the Canucks' record shows how successfull they've been.
The Canucks will be facing an enormous test as they set foot in Denver to play the Avalanche. It'll be interesting to see how the team reacts against one of the league's top team. It'll also be interesting to see what the league's top Defensemen look like one against the other.
