Contract projections have recently been revealed for Vancouver Canucks players who are set to become unrestricted free agents on Tuesday, July 1st.

The Vancouver Canucks are hoping to be active this summer and while the team will be focused externally to fill the needs they have in their forward group, primarily a second line centerman, Patrik Allvin still has to figure out what he'll be doing with the team's pending unrestricted free agents.
Among the pending UFAs that are set to hit the open market on Canada Day include Brock Boeser, Pius Suter and Noah Juulsen, while Derek Forbort, who was on an expiring contract, signed a one-year deal earlier this month.

Contract projections released for Vancouver Canucks' UFAs

AFP Analytics, who release contract projections each year, shared theirs recently for the 2025 NHL free agency period, including for a number of players on the Vancouver Canucks.
Starting with Brock Boeser, the team's most notable unrestricted free agent who is expected to hit the open market in a matter of weeks, AFP Analytics believe he's in line for a six-year contract worth $8.5 million AAV.
As for Pius Suter, who is coming off the best season of his National Hockey League career, he's projected to get a four-year deal worth $4.5 million annually, a big jump over the $1.6 million he's been earning each of the last two years in Vancouver.
Before Derek Forbort put pen-to-paper on a one-year, $2 million contract, AFP Analytics projected him to get a deal in the range of $1.53 million, but it's too early to say if the Canucks overpaid to retain the blueliner.
Vancouver's other three unrestricted free agents - Guillaume Brisebois, Noah Juulsen and Phil Di Giuseppe are all projected to land one-year contracts worth the league minimum salary of $775,000, whether that be with the Canucks or on the open market starting Canada Day.
Here's AFP's contract projections for the Canucks upcoming UFAs & RFAs.

UFA:
Brock Boeser - 6y/8.5m
Pius Suter - 4y/4.5m
Derek Forbort - 1y/1.53m
Brisebois/Juulsen/PDG - 0.775m
Aside from the already-signed Derek Forbort, it's unclear at this time how many of their pending unrestricted free agents Vancouver will keep for the 2025-26 season, with all signs pointing to their two biggest names without contract - Brock Boeser & Pius Suter - hitting the open market.
