LATEST | Canucks make an announcement on star forward J.T. Miller
While the Vancouver Canucks may have seen their winning streak come to an end on Wednesday night at the hands of the St. Louis Blues, a member of the forward group reached an impressive milestone.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the Canucks shared that, with his assist on Wednesday night, forward J.T. Miller now has 600 points in his National Hockey League career.
"Miller milestone unlocked 🔓
With an assist last night, J.T. now has 6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ career points!" The Canucks said.
The 30-year-old is going to be a very important piece to the Vancouver Canucks for the next six seasons following the current campaign and has shown that he can be one of the best forwards in the NHL.
So far this season, Miller has put up 64 points (21 goals, 43 assists), which currently has him first on the Canucks and fifth in the entire National Hockey League. He also has 35 penalty minutes and is a plus-22.
Miller is going to be key for the Canucks down the stretch as they look to return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2020 and as of Thursday, they're currently in a very good position to make that happen.
