The Canucks' former President of Hockey Operation Trevor Linden has been on a media tour as of late and it's created quite the saga between him and Jim Benning.
AN EXPLANATION TO THE TEAM'S STRUGGLES
Clearly, the fact that Linden felt he bender to take these issues out on social platforms may be an indicator of what went wrong within the team's management.
The insider Frank Seravalli felt he needed to adress the issue and he absolutely scorched Linden for the way he handled his outing:
"It just felt entirely self-serving... Benning is one of the nicest guys...why do you feel the need to shit on him all these years later?..the actual end result was the right one" #Canucks
Linden, an estimed former player and staff member, took multiple shots at the team's last GM Jim Benning. While Benning did leave the team with a load of horrible left overs, was Linden's way of handling things right.
