A bold prediction has been announced for Vancouver Canucks centerman Filip Chytil, who is back at 100 percent health, ahead of the NHL's 2025-26 season.

Filip Chytil is set to enter his first full season as a member of the Vancouver Canucks after after being acquired by the club just over halfway through the 2024-25 campaign from the New York Rangers.
The Czech forward suited up for 15 games with the Canucks before he suffered another concussion after being hit by Jason Dickinson of the Chicago Blackhawks in mid-March, which ultimately ended his season early.
There's always some concern when a player suffers multiple concussions throughout their career and they have to think about their quality of life outside of hockey too, but thankfully for Chytil, he is back at 100 percent health now and was cleared back in May to train with no restrictions, which will bode well for his chances of success this coming season.

Now that he's back at full health, Chytil is poised to take on a big role for the Vancouver Canucks to start the 2025-26 season and with the club unable to find a second line centerman up to this point, it looks like that'll be his spot.
If that's where Chytil ends up, he could have Evander Kane and Conor Garland as his wingers, both of whom can put the puck in the back of the net and certainly help the 25-year-old become a 40+ point player.
The Vancouver Canucks would probably be quite pleased if Chytil is able to hit the 40 point mark this season, but there's no doubt he has the talent to produce more, however it'll all come down to his health and how he's feeling over the course of the year.
In a recent article for The Hockey Writers, Matthew Zator shared three bold predictions for the Vancouver Canucks during the 2025-26 campaign, with one of them being Filip Chytil playing a full season AND recording 30 goals.
"If Chytil does stay healthy, he will score 30 goals. His speed and transition game have been hallmarks of his time with the Canucks so far, and if he can find some chemistry with Conor Garland and Jake DeBrusk/Evander Kane, he should hit double-digits again in the goal column. He is arguably the Canucks' biggest X factor going into the season." Zator said.

Chytil, a native of Kromeriz, Czechia, has a career-high of 22 goals, which came during the 2022-23 campaign with the New York Rangers, but reaching the 30-goal mark isn't going to be easy and as mentioned, it's going to depend on him being healthy for an entire season - playing all 82 games, which he hasn't done in the NHL yet.
