Canucks make a statement on defenceman Noah Juulsen
The Vancouver Canucks have put out a statement on their social media celebrating defenceman Noah Juulsen.
In their post on X, the Vancouver Canucks shared that defenceman Noah Juulsen is celebrating his birthday and he's turning 27-years-old today - April 2nd.
"Join us in wishing Noah Juulsen a happy birthday! 🎂
@saveonfoods| #Canucks" The team said.
Juulsen has been with the Canucks since October 2021 after being traded to them as part of the Olli Juolevi deal with the Florida Panthers. In his first two seasons with the organization, Juulsen spent the majority of his time with Abbotsford in the American Hockey League, while making a few appearances in the NHL for Vancouver.
This season however, Juulsen has been with Vancouver for the entire campaign, appearing in 53 games where he's put up seven points (one goal, six assists), 22 penalty minutes and is a minus-one. In recent weeks, Juulsen's game has been pretty strong and depending on the team's injury situation later this month, he could feature in a Stanley Cup Playoff game for the first time in his career.
The Surrey signed a two-year contract extension with the Canucks last June and if he has a strong training camp in the fall, there's no doubt that he could be on Vancouver's opening night roster for the 2024-25 season.
