Ex-Canucks Captain Bo Horvat Confronts Islanders Assistant GM Over Trade Talks with Vancouver and Other Teams

With early rumblings that Former Vancouver Canucks Captain Bo Horvat could be reuniting with his former team this offseason, the star centre has provided an important update on his trade situation with the New York Islanders and about his stance on potential trades to Vancouver and other NHL clubs.
Heading into the offseason, it was believed that the Canucks were eyeing a trade for Bo Horvat in order to fill the glaring hole they have at the second-line centre position.
If it were to come to fruition, the deal was was going to cost general manager Patrik Allvin picks and prospects to help them build for the future.

When longtime Islanders power forward, and good friend to Horvat, Matt Martin was hired to the teams front office as the Assistant to General Manager Matthieu Darche, he appeared on the Cam and Strick Podcast to discuss his new role.

Although it would be really nice to see Horvat dawn the Canucks jersey once again, the former captain has obviously made up his mind on where he wants to play out his career, and it is not with Vancouver..
