Hockey Community in Mourning as Young Junior Talent Tragically Passes Away at Just 20-Years-Old

The Hockey Community is once again in mourning as the Assurancia Venne et fille de Joliette, a team in the National Ball Hockey League (NBHL), has sadly announced the passing of one of their young forwards.
We regret to inform you of the passing of young hockey talent Christophe Babin at the age of 20.
Babin spent this past season with the Joliette Predateurs (QJHL) 🇨🇦, where he had 13 goals, 34 points through 40 games played.

20-year-old Christophe Babin, who spent the last two season playing for the Joliette Prédateurs in the QJHL, was a young hockey talent, recording 34 points in 40 games, and 30 points in 44 games.
