It's Official, Sources Confirm Rick Tocchet Has Been Hired as the Next Head Coach of the Philadelphia Flyers

Since leaving the Vancouver Canucks, and a short process of finding his next job in the NHL, multiple trusted NHL sources have confirmed that Rick Tocchet will be hired as the next head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers.
Months of speculation saw Rick Tocchet waying his options after the season with the Canucks concluded, especially when he refused to negotiate a new contract with general manager Patrik Allvin.
But, reality set in and the former Jack Adams award winning coach decided that it was best for him to move on and find a new team to lead.

All morning, According to NHL insiders Frank Seravalli, Elliotte Friedman and Pierre LeBrun, the Philadelphia Flyers and Rick Tocchet did not officially put pen to paper to make it official, but all reports indicated that the deal is 100% done for him to be the next man in charge.
Deal is still not finalized yet but Flyers are zeroing in on hiring Rick Tocchet as head coach. Again, still not quite done yet. But headed in that direction. Could be finalized later today or tomorrow.
