J.T. Miller Shares His True Feelings About Reception He Received From Fans at Rogers Arena

Former Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller shared his true feelings post-game on Tuesday regarding the reception he received from fans in attendance at Rogers Arena.
Vancouver Canucks fans had October 28th circled on their calendars ever since the National Hockey League released their 2025-26 season as it marked the return of J.T. Miller to Rogers Arena.
"Everything happens; you can't go back and change anything. Obviously, it's ugly sometimes at the end. But I think for the majority of the time I was here, you know, it's been all positive. It's been a lot of good things. And I'm not going to sit here and dwell over the way it ended,"

In the early stages of the first period last night, J.T. Miller was hearing it from the Vancouver Canucks faithful, as the 32-year-old was booed every time he touched the puck.
"Some boos for JT Miller when he touched the puck for the first time in his return to Vancouver 😅" B/R Open Ice shared on X.
However, just over halfway through the first period, those boos changed to a loud, cheerful ovation for the former Canuck as the organization played a tribute video on the jumbotron.
"The Canucks organization and fans welcome back J.T. Miller to Vancouver 🗣️👏"
After the game, J.T. Miller was asked how he felt about the reception, which included a standing ovation, he got from the fans following the team's video tribute.
Miller said it meant a ton to him and called it "surreal", adding that he was very lucky to spend parts of six seasons as a member of the Vancouver Canucks.
"It's just surreal. You don't realize how lucky you are. Just really happy that my kids got to be here today, and my wife. It means a ton to me. Just feel like super lucky to have that support in a hockey crazy city. It was a really special chapter of our lives here." Miller said according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
J.T. Miller and the New York Rangers picked up a big two points on the road last night, defeating Vancouver by a score of 2-0, with the two teams set to meet again in less than two months in The Big Apple.
