After a recent slump, the Vancouver Canucks have bounced back, winning the first two games of their three-game road trip against the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings.
During the Canucks' 2-1 overtime win over the Kings on Tuesday night, captain Quinn Hughes was in the thick of things, picking up a pair of assists. The 24-year-old is well on his way to setting a new career-high in points this season after a strong campaign thus far. In 64 games, Hughes has 73 points (12 goals, 61 assists), 28 penalty minutes and is a plus-23.
Hughes and the Canucks will look to keep things rolling and win their third straight on Thursday night as they take on the Golden Knights in Vegas. Puck drop for that contest is set for 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET on Sportsnet Pacific.
