While he may not have officially played in a game for the Canucks, he'll always be a part of the Vancouver family for an unforgettable moment in early 2022.

Rylan Toth, who appeared as the Vancouver Canucks' emergency backup (EBUG) to goaltender Michael DiPietro against the St. Louis Blues on January 23rd, 2022, after signing an amateur tryout contract, is heading down under to play hockey.

In an article on their website, the Adelaide Adrenaline of the Australian Ice Hockey League announced that they've agreed to terms on a contract with Rylan Toth for the 2024 season, which begins on April 12th.

"I've learned so much from teammates, particularly some incredible coaches. I'm looking forward to helping Adrenaline achieve our goal of getting to the playoffs and competing for a championship." Toth said.

Months after backing up the DiPietro in Vancouver, Toth signed an amateur tryout contract with the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks, appearing in 20 minutes for them, where he allowed one goal on 12 shots.

The 27-year-old spent the majority of the 2023-24 season in the Romanian Erste Liga with CSM Corona Brasov, appearing in 17 games. He had a 2.51 goals against average, a .917 save percentage, and made 454 saves.
