The Canucks a solid first period of playoffs hockey for their first 2024 playoffs appearance at Rogers Place. The team carried a 3-1 lead to the intermission with the help of what seemed to be, 3 Brock Boeser goals.

The NHL issued a statement acknowledging the Canucks' number 6 efforts with the belief that he had scored three straight goals.

Moments later, the NHL issued a new post that corrected their latest statement. It appears that the Canucks first goal was credited to Elias Lindholm. Brock Boeser took a shot through traffic and it appears to have caught Lindholm's stick along the way.
*Correction: Elias Lindholm has just been credited with the @Canucks' first goal. #StanleyCup
*The game is still underway, Brock still has time to get that hat trick.*
