An insider has confirmed that Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin is not done adding to his roster ahead of the National Hockey League's 2025-26 season.

Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin has had a busy offseason thus far, acquiring Evander Kane from the Edmonton Oilers, re-signing Brock Boeser, locking up Thatcher Demko & Conor Garland to contract extensions and most recently, cleared the logjam between the pipes by dealing goaltender Arturs Silovs to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Canucks still have a hole down the middle they'd like to fill, particularly on the second line, with J.T. Miller and Pius Suter leaving the organization in January and July, respectively.
It's unclear if the Canucks will be able to find a new second line centerman before opening night in October, however it looks like Patrik Allvin is looking at more upgrades to his roster in the weeks ahead.

Vancouver Canucks reportedly not done adding to their roster this summer

In a post on social media on Monday afternoon, Thomas Drance of The Athletic shared that the Vancouver Canucks isn't done adding just yet and are keeping an eye on some names still available on the unrestricted free agent market.
Drance added that before Patrik Allvin is able to make another signing this summer, he'll need to move some money out to clear some cap space.
"It may be mid-summer, but #Canucks management isn't «off to the cottage» just yet.

Hear the club is monitoring a couple of the UFA options still on the market. No surprise given their recent history.

VAN needs to move out cap dollars first, + they're actively working to do so." Drance said.
Given that the free agent market has been open for two weeks now, there aren't many qualities players that are unsigned, however two names to keep an eye on are Jack Roslovic and Michael Carcone, both of whom they've been linked to in the last few weeks.
