The Oilers and the Canucks have pushed this second round series to its limit as we head towards game seven.

In the majority of the Canucks' loss during the playoffs, their inability to create offensive chances have been to blame. Rick Tocchet changes his lines on various occasion and as we prepare for game seven, the head coach is ready to go all-in.

Many had been wondering when the Canucks would consider reuniting Elias Pettersson, J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser on the same line. Boeser and Miller have played together since the very beginning of this campaign while Pettersson has been running a line of his own. When Allvin acquired Elias Lindholm, everybody knew that this would eventually give Tocchet would have the flexibility to load up one line and still have offence spread out in his line-up.

Miller and Boeser were absent from the team's skate today, Petey centered Vasily Podkolzin and Ilya Mikheyev who seemed to be the place holders for 40 and 6. Lindholm was back in Joshua and Garland's middle. Suter, Miller and Boeser's usual linemate, was moved to Hoglander and Lafferty's middle:

not a full #Canucks practice, but these lines have been skating together today:

Podkolzin-EP40-Mikheyev
Joshua-Lindholm-Garland
PDG-Blueger-Aman
Hoglander-Suter-Lafferty

It'll be extremely interesting to see how the Oilers respond to that, Pettersson, Miller and Boeser are surely going to be the best line in this game. Question is, will it be enough to not only counter Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, but also to produce more offence then these two?
