The Vancouver Canucks have been scouting an Eastern Conference team for the second time in three days as trade talks begin to heat up around the league.

One team that's going to be in the thick of trade rumors leading up to March 6th is the Vancouver Canucks after Patrik Allvin sent out a memo to teams around the league informing them that he's made his pending unrestricted free agents, and some veterans, available on the market.
Vancouver's pending unrestricted free agents and veteran players are going to draw interest from several teams around the National Hockey League over the next three months, including the Philadelphia Flyers, who are a team to watch according to Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman.
"Vancouver has players that Rick Tocchet likes. I don't know if it's [Kiefer] Sherwood; it would fit. But, nobody knows the Vancouver players better than Tocchet does, right? A couple people have said to me, 'You better keep an eye on Philly when it comes to Vancouver's players.' And we're not even talking about [Quinn] Hughes - everyone likes Hughes, and I don't think anything's going on there right now. But as the Canucks talk about some of their veterans, the questions you should be asking is: what veterans there, does Tocchet like?" Friedman said.

In a social media post on Monday, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com shared that the Vancouver Canucks were among 14 teams that sent scouts to watch the Philadelphia Flyers take on the Pittsburgh Penguins, two clubs that are in Wild Card spots right now, but could end up being sellers at the deadline.
"#ScoutsInTheHouse for Penguins-Flyers in Philadelphia tonight: Golden Knights (2), Jets (2), Rangers, Sabres, Kings, Predators, Canadiens, Stars, Islanders, Canucks, Sharks, Blues, Devils, Flames." Kimelman said.
This marks the second time in three days that the Vancouver Canucks had a scout watching the Philadelphia Flyers, with one in attendance for Saturday night's 5-3 win over the New Jersey Devils.
With that now being back-to-back games that a Canucks scout is keeping an eye on the Philadelphia Flyers, it leaves many wondering if the two teams will come together to complete a trade at some point over the next 94 days.
Among the names that could be of interest to the Philadelphia Flyers, who are led by former Vancouver Canucks Head Coach Rick Tocchet, include Kiefer Sherwood, Teddy Blueger, Evander Kane and perhaps once he's back at full health, defenseman Derek Forbort too.
