Vancouver Canucks expected to unveil a brand-new uniform as NHL's next jersey rollout

The Vancouver Canucks will reportedly get a new uniform as part of a new league-wide jersey program that will take place during the NHL's 2026-27 season.
Since entering the National Hockey League ahead of the 1970-71 season, the Vancouver Canucks have had their fair share of great jerseys as well as some bad ones too.
Whether it be the "Stick in the Rink" sweaters, their "Skate" uniforms or the current Orca jerseys, fans of the Vancouver Canucks have had some great designs to wear over the team's 55-year history.
With the return of the Vancouver Canucks' black "Skate" uniforms as their full-time alternates, fans have been calling for them to be used as their primary home jersey, while re-introducing a white version for the road and while that's unlikely to happen anytime soon, it does appear that a new sweater could be on the horizon for the organization.

Vancouver Canucks fans are very familiar with league-wide jersey programs after both runs of the Reverse Retro sweaters under Adidas, which certainly drew mixed reactions in this market.
Now that the National Hockey League has switched jersey providers to Fanatics, it appears that another league-wide jersey program is coming as early as this fall.
It's important to take things with a grain of salt, however in a post on Reddit this weekend, /u/PollutionSoggy9411 shared that they work for a hockey retailer in the United States and when checking new listings in his inventory, a new NHL-wide jersey program popped up for the 2026-27 season.
While full details are still unknown at this time, the program is currently called "HTR", with all 32 teams participating and /u/PollutionSoggy9411 was also able to share the primary colour for each club, which for the Vancouver Canucks will be navy blue.

We'll have to wait and see what transpires in the coming months and if any new information leaks, but if this ends up being true, an official announcement from the league will probably come closer to the start of the 2026-27 campaign.
