Vancouver Canucks forward Kiefer Sherwood has announced some life-changing news this summer ahead of the National Hockey League's 2025-26 season.
The last 12 months have probably been the best of Kiefer Sherwood's life as he had a career-year for the Vancouver Canucks, which included breaking the NHL record for hits in a single season, finishing the 2024-25 campaign with 462 in 78 games, an average of 5.9 per night.
After such a strong season, which also included a career-high in points, the Vancouver Canucks and Kiefer Sherwood's camp began discussions on a contract extension, with the forward set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, 2026.

In a post on social media on Tuesday morning, the Vancouver Canucks congratulated Kiefer Sherwood on getting married earlier this summer to his long time partner Ariel.

Photos of the couple's wedding, which took place in California in late July, were shared Over The Moon on Instagram, and it looks like it was an incredible day for everyone involved.
