NHL insider revealed some big news on Thursday morning regarding Vancouver Canucks forward Vitali Kravtsov's future as it appears that if he clears waivers, they will look to trade him, which they expect to get little in return.

The Vancouver Canucks are nearing the end of training camp, with just one preseason game remaining on the schedule, which will come tomorrow night against the Edmonton Oilers and their lineup is likely to resemble what fans will see on opening night next Thursday.
Earlier on Thursday, the Vancouver Canucks decided to place Russian forward Vitali Kravtsov on waivers after what was a pretty subpar training camp for him in his first year back in North America following two seasons in the KHL.
The Canucks will have to wait until 11 a.m. PT on Friday to find out whether or not Vitali Kravtsov was claimed by another club or if they're able to send him to the American Hockey League, but even if the latter happens, it looks like his time with the organization may possibly be coming to a close.

NHL insider reveals big news regarding Vancouver Canucks & Vitali Kravtsov

On Thursday's edition of Donnie & Dhali, NHL insider Rick Dhaliwal shared that the Vancouver Canucks have Vitali Kravtsov's name out there on the trade market and are waiting to see if there are any teams around the league that may be interested in the 25-year-old winger.
"I'm hearing that the Vancouver Canucks have Vitali Kravtsov's out there. They're trying to see if any teams are interested. He's the guy they signed in the offseason. Remember he left Vancouver, came over in a trade from the Rangers. He's had a disappointing camp and he's slated to make $450,000 in Abbotsford. That's a big ticket, that's a big ticket. You want guys in Abbotsford that are 20-year-olds. The veterans have to be like 20-year-olds in junior - good pros on and off the ice, they have to be leaders to show the way for the young kids. So look, I'm just hearing that the Canucks got Vitali Kravtsov's name out there. Let's see what happens." Dhaliwal said.
Kravtsov, a native of Vladivostok, Russia, is coming off two solid seasons in the KHL, including last year when he was top-ten in the league in both goals (27) and points (58), leading the Vancouver Canucks to bring him back to North America on a one-year, two-way deal.
We'll have to wait and see what tomorrow brings, but if Vitali Kravtsov isn't claimed by another team, then maybe we'll see the Vancouver Canucks get a bit more aggressive in trying to shop him, perhaps even include him in a package for Chicago Blackhawks forward Lukas Reichel, who the club has been linked to throughout the week.
